Orlando Escorts: Fla. mom mistaken for alleged prostitute

KISSIMMEE, Fla. –
An Orlando mother was arrested after disembarking from a cruise ship, mistaken for a suspected prostitute wanted in central Florida.
Thirty-one-year-old Paola Londono spent more than 36 hours in a South Florida jail before her attorney could persuade a judge to let her out. She had been mistaken for a woman with the same name, but who was seven years younger, five inches taller and looked completely different.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says dispatchers relied on incorrect information when Broward County investigators called to confirm they had the right suspect.
Londono was returning from a Caribbean cruise with her family.
The real suspect faces charges of prostitution, child abuse and possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Orlando Escorts: Mixup has mother held as prostitute

Mother with same name as prostitute mistakenly jailed
Orlando Sentinel In Print: Wednesday, September 8, 2010
ORLANDO — An Orlando mother was mistaken for a suspected prostitute and arrested after she got off a cruise ship in South Florida over the weekend.
Paola Londono, 31, spent more than 36 hours in a Broward County jail because authorities there thought she was a woman by the same name who was wanted in Osceola County for failing to appear in court.
The wanted Paola Londono, who is 24, was arrested in March by Kissimmee police in a sting targeting online prostitution ads.
Londono was arrested on charges of prostitution, heroin possession and possessing drug paraphernalia. Records show she is also wanted in Orange County in a child abuse case.
It’s unclear where Londono is today — she’s still wanted by authorities.

Orlando Escorts: Cruise ship passenger with baby wrongly arrested, accused of prostitution

In March, Kissimmee police arrested another woman named Paola Londono, 26, on charges of prostitution and drug possession. When she failed to appear in court, a judge issued a warrant for her arrest.
Somehow, the cruise ship passenger’s birth date was mistakenly printed on the suspected prostitute’s arrest warrant, reports WKMG News.
The Londono arrested in March is 5 inches taller and 40 pounds lighter than the other Londono. They also have different dates of birth, different social security numbers and live at different addresses, reports CBS4 News in Miami.
Broward County authorities had no choice but to arrest her because her name and birth date appeared on the arrest warrant, according to a Broward County Sheriff’s Department spokewoman.
Then Londono hit another snafu: Due to the holiday weekend, her attorney Jose Baez said he had trouble finding someone in Osceola County who could send the suspected prostitute’s fingerprints to the Broward County Jail, reports WKMG News.

Orlando Adult Entertainment: Lowered building heights, deeper setbacks in revised plan along Tangerine Road

… Right now, neither one of these projects is viable,” Censky said. “Now is a time for us to entitle land,” ensure utilities and appropriate zoning are available, “then we put it on the shelf. We don’t have a crystal ball. It won’t even be looked at, the next three years.”
The hotel is “envisioned as an overflow” for the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, “and right now it’s not viable,” Censky said. “Five, six, seven, 10 years down the road, an overflow for the Ritz is needed. … We envision the Ritz being successful, we envision this area growing.”
Neighbors were concerned by the “quality of the hotel,” Large said. “This property would never have a Motel 6, a Super 8, or any of those types of motels.” To ensure as much, the new proposal calls for an interior corridor hotel. “That alone will require a higher room rate.”
“We don’t want a hotel where prostitutes and their Johns would go to,” one resident said.

Orlando Strip Clubs: Captain We’re Sinking (Chapter 2)

Asheville, North Carolina – We had a great night sleep and high tailed across the state of North Carolina to play a show at the Edge Frat. The Edge Frat is a rad house spot with some funny people living there. We sit around and watch some Cops and shoot the shit before the show starts. Our new best buds Hold Tight! played and killed it. This show went off without a hitch, except for a couple of fuck ups. Easily our favorite show of tour so far. We had to leave that night to head to Orlando which is 9 and a half hours. We stayed 5 hours out of Orlando at a seedy motel that busted us for having 4 people instead of 2. After some sweet talking, he let us stay if we promised not to be dicks. Little does he know, we’re fucking mega rock stars so naturally we trashed the room, invited some South Carolina strippers to hang, and fucked all night…………maybe.

Orlando Escorts: Fla. man arrested in online sex ’sting’

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 12 (UPI) — A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting sex with two underage girls from an undercover agent posing online as their father, officials said.
Paul Joseph Quillen, 41, faces felony charges of solicitation of a parent for unlawful sex acts with a child, and traveling to meet a parent for unlawful sex acts with a child, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Thursday.
He could face a prison sentence of 20 years if convicted of all charges, the newspaper said.
Police say Quillen began chatting online with an undercover investigator for the state attorney general’s CyberCrime Unit last week and allegedly repeatedly solicited the “father” for sex with his children.
Quillen thought the “father” had two girls, ages 11 and 13.
“He then traveled to a location in Orange County where he was arrested by law enforcement,” law enforcement officials said in a report.
