Orlando Adult Entertainment: Lowered building heights, deeper setbacks in revised plan along Tangerine Road

… Right now, neither one of these projects is viable,” Censky said. “Now is a time for us to entitle land,” ensure utilities and appropriate zoning are available, “then we put it on the shelf. We don’t have a crystal ball. It won’t even be looked at, the next three years.”
The hotel is “envisioned as an overflow” for the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, “and right now it’s not viable,” Censky said. “Five, six, seven, 10 years down the road, an overflow for the Ritz is needed. … We envision the Ritz being successful, we envision this area growing.”
Neighbors were concerned by the “quality of the hotel,” Large said. “This property would never have a Motel 6, a Super 8, or any of those types of motels.” To ensure as much, the new proposal calls for an interior corridor hotel. “That alone will require a higher room rate.”
“We don’t want a hotel where prostitutes and their Johns would go to,” one resident said.

Orlando Strip Clubs: Captain We’re Sinking (Chapter 2)

Asheville, North Carolina – We had a great night sleep and high tailed across the state of North Carolina to play a show at the Edge Frat. The Edge Frat is a rad house spot with some funny people living there. We sit around and watch some Cops and shoot the shit before the show starts. Our new best buds Hold Tight! played and killed it. This show went off without a hitch, except for a couple of fuck ups. Easily our favorite show of tour so far. We had to leave that night to head to Orlando which is 9 and a half hours. We stayed 5 hours out of Orlando at a seedy motel that busted us for having 4 people instead of 2. After some sweet talking, he let us stay if we promised not to be dicks. Little does he know, we’re fucking mega rock stars so naturally we trashed the room, invited some South Carolina strippers to hang, and fucked all night…………maybe.

Orlando Escorts: Deputies say son drove mother to sex appointment

Four Deltona residents, including a mother-son duo, face criminal charges in connection with a prostitution sting in Polk County.
Pamela J. Small, 40, and her son Lawson Wayne Bracewell III, 23, were nabbed in the operation Wednesday, their arrest reports show.
They were among 44 people who either responded to or placed Internet classified ads last week, according to Donna Wood, a Polk sheriff’s spokeswoman.

Bracewell agreed to drive his mother to Polk County for $50 in gas money, knowing she intended to engage in prostitution, the arrest report states. He was charged with deriving proceeds from prostitution.

Also charged with soliciting prostitution were:

· Nichole A. Taylor, 39, of Deltona. She negotiated to have sexual intercourse with a detective for “250 balloons,” a term commonly used by prostitutes that actually means dollars, after meeting through Craigslist, the summary states. Taylor has six prior prostitution arrests, the summary states.

Orlando Adult Entertainment: Cops: Woman was forced into prostitution in Orlando

But when an Ohio woman met the woman she knew from MySpace, she was forced into prostitution and beaten when she tried to escape, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said today.

A deputy on patrol this morning about 1 saw the woman try to make a deal for sex for $80 with two men in a car on Orange Blossom Trail, according to the report. She told the deputy that Scivoletti and “Stay Ready” kept the money the woman earned as a prostitute and that she hadn’t had anything to eat that day. She also showed the deputy bruises on her legs, the report states.

Deputies arrested Scivoletti, who gave an Atlanta address, on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and forcing another person into prostitution. She is being held at the Orange County Jail without bail.

Scivoletti’s family reported her missing from New Jersey July 1, 2006, according to the National Center for Missing Adults, which also lists her as “recovered,” though no date is given. She was arrested in California on a prostitution charge in November 2008. The disposition of the case was not available late today.

Orlando Escorts: Fla. man arrested in online sex ’sting’

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 12 (UPI) — A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting sex with two underage girls from an undercover agent posing online as their father, officials said.
Paul Joseph Quillen, 41, faces felony charges of solicitation of a parent for unlawful sex acts with a child, and traveling to meet a parent for unlawful sex acts with a child, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Thursday.
He could face a prison sentence of 20 years if convicted of all charges, the newspaper said.
Police say Quillen began chatting online with an undercover investigator for the state attorney general’s CyberCrime Unit last week and allegedly repeatedly solicited the “father” for sex with his children.
Quillen thought the “father” had two girls, ages 11 and 13.
“He then traveled to a location in Orange County where he was arrested by law enforcement,” law enforcement officials said in a report.

Orlando Adult Entertainment: Immigration officers ask tough questions as system’s gatekeepers

After immigrants meet the requirements, Borjal said, they will find a welcoming message from those very officers: “I tell immigrants that the only limit you have is yourself in this country and that no one will stop you from success if you do the right thing.”
Back in the interview room, the officer learns that Xavier has been arrested once for driving without a license — a not- so-uncommon violation for people on expired visas who cannot get state-issued driver licenses. Xavier explains that he paid the fine and has not done it again.
The questions keep coming: Have you ever solicited a prostitute? Have you sold drugs? Are you part of a terrorist group? Have you ever been deported or removed from the U.S.? Have you ever had any type of visa other than a B-2? Do you plan on practicing polygamy? Do you intend to be a spy?

Orlando Escorts: National Poetry Slam 2010 day 3 wrap-up, day 4 recommendations

… The third day of prelims in the 2010 National Poetry Slam was even more bustling with energy than the previous two nights. City Pages camped out at Wild Tymes for the first bout between Denver, CO; Irving, TX; Manchester, NH; and Orlando, FL. The crowd was sparse towards the beginning–so much so that the slam host commanded the teams to step outside and recruit judges. But once fully stocked with people willing to put numeric rankings on art, things got underway.
Denver’s first poet kicked things off with a bang, telling the story of the rape of a prostitute and the dignity she carried throughout the horrific experience. Starting with a screed on the judgment society passes on prostitutes, and ending with the central character holding a gun to the head of her attacker, the arc paralleled the poet’s intensity and the words spiraled upwards.

Orlando Adult Entertainment: One nation, under surveillance? Security cameras record more and more of life

The average outdoor monitoring system costs $1,000 to $3,000 and uses high-resolution cameras and features such as night vision that most homeowners could not have afforded a few years ago, Prashant said.
Mobile home park cameras
Lori Nassofer, owner of the mobile home park Lake Shore Village, has given permission to install four surveillance cameras at the park, although she is not sure when it will happen.
She was approached months ago by an Alabama woman — herself the victim of sexual molestation — who was concerned that so many sexual predators live in the park. The park, with 80 mobile homes, has more than 100 registered sex offenders living there. Nassofer said she agreed to the cameras because her tenants overwhelmingly support them.
“The only people who should have a complaint against cameras are people who are doing something wrong like drug dealers, drug users and prostitutes,” she said.
